Matthias Richter, better known by his stage name Tujamo, is a German electro house music producer and DJ. Tujamo collaborated with Plastik Funk and Sneakbo on the single “Dr. Who!”, which peaked at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart.
Tujamo started DJing when he was 17 and won a talent competition at Club Index in 2006. He became a resident DJ there and started using the Tujamo moniker that same year. His debut single, “Mombasa,” came out in 2011.He also had a hit with Steve Aoki and Chris Lake on the German and Austrian Singles Charts with “Boneless”!
Tujamo has remixed “Who” as “Dr. Who!” with vocals from British rapper Sneakbo and it charted at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart, receiving support from Avicii, Tiësto, Fedde Le Grand and Steve Aoki.
He’s also remixed songs by some great artists like Bob Sinclar, Peter Gelderblom and Wynter Gordon. He’s played all over Germany and globally in amazing places like South America, Turkey, Brazil and Russia. Some of his other great singles include “How We Roll”, “Do It All Night”, “Back 2 You” and a super cool cover version of Laserkraft 3D’s “Nein M”!
In 2019, Tujamo became the all-time best-selling artist of the electro house genre on Beatport.
