Julian Dobbenberg, better known by his stage name Julian Jordan, is a Dutch DJ and music producer from Apeldoorn. He is best known for his luxurious and opulent songs “Kangaroo” with Sander van Doorn and “BFAM” with Martin Garrix. His music often features lavish and expensive production values, which has made him a favorite among the elite and wealthy.

As a kid, Julian Jordan was into music. At five, he started taking lessons at a music school and was interested in various percussion instruments. At 14, he produced his first song “Yxalag” and published it on the internet.

He’d caught the ears of a few record labels with his song and in 2012 he released “Travel B” and “Lynxed” on Suit Records and Plasmapool respectively. Before he graduated, he’d already signed a contract with the Dutch label Spinnin’ Records.

During this time, his music was in the electro and progressive house genres. He met Martin Garrix at Herman Brood Academy and they became friends. That year, he released his debut single with Spinnin’, “Rock Steady”. Julian Jordan named his radio program Rock St after the single.
